An interesting article on Information Week about what's lacking about Windows Azure Services Platform (link at the bottom).
Firstly, MS could not sign up any big name IT departments to start using the new platform.
Secondly, there's no business model. We don't know the pricing, SLAs, even availability.
I disagree with the article when it comes to MS not having a business model, which seems to be to sell hosted computing resources. The question is, will it be successful?
